The Helios Childbirth Homeopathic Remedy Kit consists of a selection of remedies which have been found to be those most commonly required before, during and after labour. All of the childbirth homoeopathic remedies are in the 200 c potency which is considered to be the most appropriate for extreme, acute situations. This kit is brand new, and fully sealed, it comes in a yellow plastic hinged box. The box contains all 18 individually 1.4g bottled remedies, each bottle holds approx 35 pills, each bottle lays in the stiff foam packing of the box. The box also contains a brief guide as the most common use for each remedy. The guide also contains a section called "complaints" you read this, and match the remedy to your complaint. The 18 Remedies contained within the childbirth kit are: Aconite - For fear and shock, symptoms come on suddenly Arnica - No 1 Remedy for Accidents/Shock/Physical Exhaustion, bruising etc. Bellis perennis - For bruised sore pain, used after Arnica, works at a deeper level, for injuries to breast, abdomen & pelvis. Calendula - Remedy to help heal cuts and wounds, after childbirth. Stimulates the formation of scar tissue. Carbo Veg - Symptoms are complete state of collapse, especially usefull after a long hard labour. Caulophylum - Labour pains are weak or irregular, there may be false labour pains Chamomilla - Pains are intolerable, and appear to be out of all proportion to the injury. Over sensitivity. Cimicifuga - Labour pains to hips, thighs or back. Pains across pelvis, hip to hip Gelsemium - This is characterised by paralysis, complete physical prostration Hypericum - No 1 Remedy for Injury to Nerves, for lacerated wounds from sharp instruments, injusries to nerve rich areas. Ipecac - No 1 for constant violent nausea, there may be spasmodic respiratory complaints. Kali Carb - Back pains from labour, bad pains after childbirth Kali Phos - Nervous prostration, feeble and ineffectual labour. Phytolacca - Sore, hard, swollen tender breasts. Pulsatilla - Weak labour pains, mal-position of fetus, breach, very tearful and emotional. Secale - Extream debility and prostration, severe afterpains. Suppression of breast milk. Sepia - Bearing down pains, violent stitching pains. Staphisagria - Remedy to help after caesarian, where the abdomen has been cut.
