If you buy an item via eBay you are able to read previous comments on the supplier, and are also protected in the event of poor performance by the supplier by their first rate security processes, If you by a camera directly from a nornal classified advert, it is a good idea to transfer the money by paypal, as you are less likely to be cheated when protected by their payment system.
