This is a beautifully smooth hand sanded charm crafted from Rowan Wood. (Sometimes I leave the bark on depending on the condition of the particular Rowan Wood I am crafting with.)

I have pyrographed a Rune for protection onto the front and have threaded the talisman with waxed cotton thong so that it may be worn as a pendant or attached somewhere else on the person or in the home etc.. This Rowan Wood Pendant measures approx 1 inches in dia. It would make a thoughtful gift for a friend or loved one or indeed yourself.

Rowan is a very protective wood and deflects negative energies. Rowan may be used in all defensive Magick and for the protection of humans as well as animals. Also used to promote psychic powers, healing, success and good luck. The Rowan Tree is sacred to the Celtic Goddess Brighid/Bride/Brigantia.
