Description:

·        Hand made from hard wearing GSA compliant 7 strand type III 550lb (250kg) breaking strain para cord.

·        Each bracelet contains over 15 feet of a continuous length of cord.

·        Inner circumference is approximately 7.5 inch (19.05 cm).

·        Large knot to allow for easy removal with cold/wet hands.

·        Finished with a pewter skull.

·        Colour as shown. (BLACK)

Uses:

Applications in camping, climbing, field craft, sailing, mountaineering, shooting sports and daily life. Can be used whole or pulled apart and the seven strands can be used for many more applications. Pewter skull can be used as a fishing weight.

These superbly designed and crafted pieces were hand-made in Scotland, but the maker has now stopped trading so once they are gone they are gone forever!

The only way I can sell these is to ask you to tell me first which pin (or pins) you are interested in, so please send me a message saying something like: "Photo 2, middle row, Stewart". I will then tell you ASAP if it is still available or not and you can then complete the transaction if it is.

The length of each pin is just over 10cm and about 4.5cm wide.

I selected "new with defects" because they have been stored in such a way that the mounts are certainly less than perfect - they are a bit bruised and battered and some of the name tags may be torn or loose.

However, as far as I can tell, the pins themselves are still in very good condition. A few are a bit discoloured (if that is the right thing to say about pewter) so I recommend you request a close-up photo from me if you need a better look before committing to a purchase (I will need an email address from you to do this).

J.J. is the registered trademark of Jonette Jewelry Co. located in East Providence, Rhode Island. The company was founded in 1935 as Providence Jewelry Company by Abraham Lisker and later changed names to Lisker and Lisker Inc. During WWII the firm discontinued production due to the metal shortages that were brought on by the war and government restrictions. The company changed its name to "Lisker & Lisker" when Abraham's brother Nathan joined him in the business. After the war, the company reemerged as "Jonette Jewelry" in honour of  Abraham and Nathan's parents -- "John" and "Etta." Since the 1970's, Gordon Lisker has been manufacturing jewelry though some of the work is farmed out to other companies. In 1970, the company began marking its jewelry with the distinctive "JJ" trademark on all pieces. In 1986 they registered the popular "Artifacts" mark
