Hallmarked Solid Silver Thimble

This unique hallmarked solid silver thimble was commissioned by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to comemorate their 20th Anniversay.  This thimble was specially made by Dust Jewellery who used to trade in Lower Largo (home to Daniel Defoe of  Robinson Crusoe fame) and bears the Norman Grant Hallmark.

The thimble is fully hallmarked on the side with the maker's mark NG, the lion rampant for Scotland, the Castle mark of the Edinburgh assay office. Overall, this thimble is in excellent condition.

This thimble is a vintage item but has no signs of wear.

This stylish and very sought after thimble would make a distinctive addition to any collection or the perfect Christmas gift!

The postage rates are offered is Royal Mail 'First Class Signed for' however this 'First Class Signed For' only offers insurance up to a value of £35 and DOES NOT cover jewellery.  If you wish Royal Mail "Special Delivery" please advise and I will advise price accordingly.
