1. PaymentAll purchases must be paid in full before delivery. We will continue to own, and reserve the right to repossess any goods sold from its web site until payment has been received and cleared in full. Payments are accepted on most credit or debit cards. 3.This item is due on a container

When we sell items quoting "Item is due on a container..." this means the items have not yet reached the UK, the times quoted on the sale ad are anticipated docking dates into the UK and allow for a set time for smooth customs clearance. Unfortunately however delays can sometimes occur in shipping and it is advised to always allow 14 days from latest quoted date on ad for delivery to your home. This is to allow for unforeseen delays in customs clearance etc and possible shipping re-routes which are beyond our control. Approximately 5% of our items are subject to this delay. Please take a little time to read the feedback comments on our account, you will see the vast majority of people have delivery much quicker than quoted, however we do have delays as mentioned and to avoid debates later it is very important that you only bid on the understanding that on rare occasions you may have to wait up to 6 weeks for delivery. If this small chance of delay is not agreeable to you we ask you not to bid on this item in order to avoid dispute at a later date.

Due to the unpredictable nature of shipping and very long distances involved, there may be a period of some weeks following purchase and payment when you will not receive any contact from us re your delivery. Please do not worry about this period of what may seem like inactivity, we will in fact be working very hard as always to ensure the speediest possible delivery.

Please note it is essential that we are made aware in advance of despatch of any holiday dates that you may have if items are quoted due on a container. The delivery may be in advance of the quoted dates, thus we urge you to forward the dates to avoid the carriers calling when you are not available.

Unfortunately due to the erratic nature of shipping we will not be able to forward updates unless you email us, with this in mind ask you to email us if updates are needed and always to email in the third week and query the whereabouts of the particular vessel containing your item. We will be glad to email our shippers to obtain a firmer date if possible.

4. GuaranteeAll items have our Guarantee. Please see the item description to see the period of cover, however this is usually 7 days, it will never be a period shorter than 7 days. All goods sold comply with current legislation so far as we are aware. 5. RETURNS

5.1 Items returned within the 7 day cooling off periodBy law, customers located in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered.

Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the 7 working day cooling off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item BUT NOT the cost of postage You must exercise the right to cancel an order by informing us in writing within the following period:Goods - from the date the order is accepted by us until seven days after the Goods arrive at the delivery address. Customers exercising their right to cancel an order must ensure that reasonable care is taken of the goods and that they are returned to us in an unused and as new condition complete in its original packaging and with all instructions and accessories. If a return has been authorised by us, we will refund the purchase price of the goods within 30 days of receiving and checking the goods are as new and complete. 6.2 Damaged Products

All damages must be reported by email within 24 hours and noted on carriers note on delivery if possible. Please send photographic evidence if possible. Please under no circumstances sign the delivery note "unchecked" this is not recognised by carriers as sufficient to lodge an insurance claim in the case of damages.

Please note that any damaged or faulty items may be repaired, replaced or refunded in line with our 7 day money back guarantee. Individual circumstances may deem it is not possible to offer a replacement so a repair in these cases may be offered, this will be looked at on an individual basis at the sellers discretion.

At the sellers discretion a replacement on damaged or faulty items may not be viable, therefore in these cases a repair or refund will be offered. please do not bid if this is not understood.

.5.3 If we sent you an item you did not order (an "incorrect" item)

As soon as you find out we’ve sent you an incorrect item, you should send it back to us, and we’ll make sure that you are not charged for it. If you want to replace the item we sent you with the item you ordered, then we will (subject to having stock) send you the correct item as soon as we can

6.Colours and shades

With the type of products for sale on this site, it is practically impossible to portray them on the internet with total accuracy. The exact shade can vary from piece to piece, due to the precise amount of stain used on each piece, or the amount of grain appearing in the natural wood which will differ from piece to piece. It can also be the case that different monitors show colours differently and the lighting used at the time of the picture being taken can vary and as a consequence can affect the tone of the picture and the precise shading. As a rule of thumb dark wood can look darker and light wood can look lighter. So whilst every effort is made to make pictures as representative of each item of furniture as possible, there could always be slight differences in reality. The photographs should be taken to be good representations only.

Consequently, whilst every effort is made to show shading, tones and colours accurately, we are not able to guarantee total accuracy. As a result any differences in shading, tones and colours will not be regarded as faults, or as just reason to return the furniture to us. ( this does not affect your Statutory rights) and if you wish to return an item on this basis, you are able to within 7 days of receipt but we ask that you are responsible for the cost of collection and return to us. We will of course refund the full cost of the furniture for you as usual.

We are always happy to offer our opinion on actual shades , and indeed have a limited number of sample boards that we can send to you. So if you want clarification, please email us through Ebay with your query.

7.Care of Furniture

Due to the nature of solid wood, changes in relative humidity may cause some small movement in the timbers, great care has been taken to reduce the incidence of such occurrence, however by the very nature of the solid timbers the complete elimination is impossible.

All our timbers are dried to beyond acceptable moisture contents, However wood is a natural fibre and can never be 100% guaranteed against small amounts of movement. It is extremely rare that the structural integrity of our furniture will be compromised.

Please avoid furniture polishes such as Mr Sheen etc, this will dry out the timbers. Please simply buff with a dry lint free cloth for best results.

8.Distressed and Rustic Furniture

Please bear in mind that when you are purchasing our furniture you are buying handmade furniture where varying degrees of distressing is generally applied. This is very much intended and makes each piece totally individual as desired by the craftsmen. We sell only genuine rustic designs with varying degrees of distressing from piece to piece, this may involve wood splits, wood filling, knots, purpose distress/scratch marks, antiquing etc. The basic desire is to give the piece the lived in look, this is an advantage for the future use of your furniture as bumps and bruises are not so noticeable as on highly polished clones. Any small bumps or bruises can very easily in turn be rectified with the use of touch up pens etc.

Please be aware that a certain degree of filler will be used on Mango furniture this is common and very much part of the process.

Please note that our Indian Jali and Mango, items are usually of a very rustic nature and a heavy distressing is usually applied, this may appear as a dulling or rubbing effect to the waxed finish, knotty and grainy woods are used, this is as intended by the supplier.

Please take care to research distressed furniture further with your local specialist as to avoid any disputes after purchase.

If a highly polished clone is required then you may be better looking for the wholesale versions.
