Vintage Egyptian Carved Stone Scarab Amulet Pendant And Silver Chain

Antique / Vintage Egyptian Carved Stone Scarab Amulet Pendant

Set in a beautiful mount with a chain.

The mount and chain are believed to be silver.

There is a very small hallmark on the loop of the chain but it has worn so is not clear.

It does appear that the chain has been repaired at some point in it’s life-time as there is what looks like a ‘weld’ on the chain – this weld is approx. 4mm long.

 

The chain is quite long at 22”

The beetle measures 17mm x 12mm

The pendant mount measures: 20mm x 15mm (not including loop on top)

 

I do not know the exact age of this item – sorry.
