Steampunk Mermaid Starfish Sea Steam Punk Vintage Pocket Watch Charm Necklace

This addiction to steampunk jewellery has taken us over- Not only do we love making it we  love wearing it too! This necklace is a real work of art. We cleared the watch body of its workings, added a background of a beautiful mermaid we added a layer of resin with a slither of a sea shell and a Tibetan silver star fish. Layer upon layer of resin has been added along with more cogs and wheels to make them look as if they are floating.  We have taken the watch glass off because the age of the watch the glass is scratched and marked. A handcrafted lampwork glass bead is hand wired in to the necklace. The resin lies just below the edge of the watch body giving it a framed look. The necklace measures 36 inches  and is an antiqued silver to give it an aged look. PLEASE NOTE BECAUSE WE HAVE USED ANTIQUE WATCHES THE CASE IS SLIGHTLY MARKED ON THE BACK. THIS WONT BE SEEN WHEN WORN AND ADDS TO ITS AGED BEAUTY. We have other steampunk jewellery including a few other old pocket watch necklaces for sale in our shop.
